Didn't write much last post because I couldn't think of anything to say at the time, but I decided not to try out the Parakeet build. Instead, since I discovered Taugrim's blog (see blog links along the right), which has extensive write-ups on playing Powertech/Vanguard, I decided to go with his Iron Fist build.
Can't say much about it yet though since I'm in that just-hit-50-so-I-get-demolished-by-everyone phase.
In other news we did a joint Infernal run with Ghost Codex tonight. Started rough but ended successfully. Abraxane is now in full Rakata minus the body piece and both implants.

Legacy Level 48
Hit 48 earlier today. Half powerleveling/half power-valor-leveling Lasix now; it occurred to me a few days back that if I was shooting for Battlemaster I should start early (and sub-50 PvP is a lot more fun too). Already up to Valor Rank 32, but also I'm now ~2 levels ahead of where I should be questing and that's not taking into account how I'd normally be about a level behind now which means Lasix is gonna hit 50 mid-Corellia as is. Lasix is now nearly level 43 and just about to start Belsavis.
Looking forward to hitting 50 so I can try out the "Parakeet" PvP build (21/2/18)--so named because the last Carolina Parakeet died in captivity on February 21, 1918. It's a very tight hybrid build, so I can't really use it as I level; I've been sticking to the standard Shield Tech tank build as I go.
Not a lot of other news the last few days. I've been slowing down on playing SWTOR in general now because my two current goals to reach before 1.2 (reaching Legacy Level 50 and having Lasix decked out in Battlemaster) are way ahead of schedule for an early April release. I haven't been raiding as much this week either. In out-of-game news I've got another phone interview for a VA job in Fayetteville, Arkansas tomorrow. It's full-time and sounds juicy but may have hours that aren't very conducive to raiding. But eh, I'd rather be employed than not for sure.

One More Time
I'm now absolutely sick of trying to PvP on my Sorcerer and leveling characters in waves isn't doing it for me. I was so bored last night I actually did my PvP dailies a second time on my Marauder. I want to continue PvPing to get Battlemaster on at least one of my characters, but I can't really settle on which. I'd like to do some tanking since I enjoyed it every time I did a rare WZ while leveling and I loved tanking in PvP way back when I played Warhammer Online...but I don't want to play my Assassin...
So that means it's time to powerlevel my Powertech! LET'S DO THIS.

Guild Summit: Legacy Level Cap is 50
Watching the stream of the guild summit now (on my second monitor whilst playing my Operative). They just wrapped up discussion of the legacy system.
Darkhorse managed to get a question in live on stream asking about the Legacy Level cap and mentioned that there was already members of his guild (ie me) that were approaching 50. Had an interesting reaction from the crowd and staff there. I'll try to find some video of it to post later if I can.
Anywho, there's official confirmation now that the current Legacy Level cap is 50.

Bithday today. Went to Denny's for a late (free) breakfast; it was pretty crowded though. I'm getting "Happy Birthday"s from people I haven't talked to in years on Facebook; on one hand I appreciate the sentiment but on the other I'm kind of offended that they're being posted via the little birthday blip on the Facebook feed instead of actually visiting my profile. Oh well, vanity.
My birthday present to myself today: no dailies. Playing my Juggernaut today. So far I'm leveling my last three characters in waves. Lasix is ready to go to Alderaan, working on putting Lantus in place before Tatooine. When that's done I'll level Desyrel through Nar Shaddaa then Lantus through Tatooine then Lasix through Alderaan. Then go back and do Desyrel through Tatooine, Lantus through Alderaan, Lasix through Taris, and so on.
Late night addendum: wife surprised me with some homemade cake a few hours after we got home from Dennys (<3). Went out to a sushi joint in El Centro for dinner (think the name was Fuzion?). Food was ehhhhh-alright, but they had $5 rolls so there was plenty of it.

Gearing Abraxane - part 2
It seems my impeccable luck streak in gearing Abraxane continues, sort of. Despite no gear for Abraxane dropping at all through both Normal and Nightmare Mode KP, I crit-crafted both my Rakata bracers and belt within 3 crafts between last night during raid and this morning.
There's people in the guild still who have been trying to get theirs for weeks. Teeheehee.
